What Is Post Acute Medical?
Post Acute Medical LLC, based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, is a specialty healthcare company focused on providing high quality post-acute care in the most efficient and cost-effective setting. The company is led by a team that has over 100 years of experience in healthcare management and operation. Four of the senior executives were formerly at Trans Healthcare, Inc ("THI") - $1.1 billion revenue operator of post-acute healthcare facilities - including it's founder and former Chairman, President and CEO, Anthony Misitano. The Company intends to leverage the team's deep industry experience to create an extensive, nationwide post-acute network to serve patients that require specialized acute care services for their recovery but, due to their medical complexity, cannot be efficiently managed or administered in a typical acute care setting. As depicted below, the intermediary services in this network that bridge the gap between acute care and skilled nursing care are provided in Specialty Hospitals: Long Term Acute Care Hospitals ("LTACHs") and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities ("IRFs"). Management will establish a post-acute care network that incorporates LTACHs and/or IRFs linked together with hospital partners, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and outpatient centers, creating a continuum-of-care that (i) better serves the patients unique medical needs, (ii) is more cost effective and efficient for providers and payors, and (iii) provides a diverse revenue stream for the Company by managing multiple levels of care
