In September of 1984, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), became the exclusive importer, marketer, and distributor of Porsche automobiles for the United States. Its mission has been defined by its President, Frederick J. Schwab, in simple terms: \"To make the buying, driving, maintaining, and owning of Porsche vehicles a pleasure for our customers.\" To do this, PCNA has elected to control its own destiny in its single largest market by establishing and maintaining an import organization, and developing facilities and programs that assure the highest level of support for both Porsche owners and the Porsche dealer body. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, PCNA also has three service training centers and a network of \"field\" employees who are located in major cities throughout the U.S., providing sales, service, and parts support to the dealerships.
