In 1945, a talented young Italian man named Orlando Pompei moved to the United States. He founded Pompei Tile Company in 1951. Orlando brought a unique skillset with him, which he learned from his family’s business back in Italy. His specialty was installing tile, stone and terrazzo. Extraordinary workmanship paired with unique and proper installation methods were of the utmost importance to him. Pompei, Inc. continues the tradition of excellence, holding itself to the same rigorous standards when it comes to quality control, customer service, and specialty tile, stone and terrazzo installations.
