Plympton is a literary studio, which focuses on innovation in publishing. Among our work: • Amazon Original Stories, Out of Line (2020), Inheritance (2019), Disorder (2019), Warmer (2018), • Recovering the Classics (recoveringtheclassics.com), which crowdsources cover designers for great books in the public domain. We are bringing the covers nationwide through a campaign called 50x50 campaign (50x50.us) • VR film for the New York Times in conjunction with Penguin Random House and Sensorium Works based on George Saunders' novel, Lincoln in the Bardo. • Curated the New York Public Library digital shorts collection. • CODEX Hackathon, a literary and publishing hackathon that draws people from around the world. Sponsors and partners include Google, HarperCollins, Goodreads, Mailchimp, Macmillan, Harvard Book Store, Digital Public Library of America, Kickstarter, Amazon Books, Automattic (parent company of WordPress.com), Dropbox, Wattpad, among others. First event was in San Francisco in June 2015. Second was at MIT Media Lab in January 2016. Often called "the best hackathon I've ever been to" by participants. Heavily profiled in the media. • Rooster (readrooster.com), a mobile reading app that Inc. magazine called a "game changing startup to watch." Also featured by Fast Company. • Digital fiction.
