Pivot Canada Revenue and Competitors

Pivot 2020 is an urban exploration and information gathering project that will hire 1,200 young people in 27 cities across Canada to collect data this fall through surveying youth, interviewing community members, and collecting benchmark information on the issues that matter to them most. Through this program they will gain critical experience and a wide range of core skills including virtual research, surveying, communication, social media strategy and analytics, while creating the Pivot Cities Platform - an openly accessible youth-informed database to support urban centres in their pandemic recovery efforts, infused with youthful energy, ideas and innovation. This program is managed by a consortium led by Simon Fraser University Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Youthful Cities and the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity. Additional partners include Tamarack Institute, Canadian Urban Institute and Institut Nouveau du Monde, as well as community based organizations in each of the 27 cities that will provide expertise in civic youth engagement.
