Founded by brothers David and Scott Thompson in 1995, Piedmont Construction Group is an award-winning, full service general contracting, construction management, and design/build firm. Piedmont Construction Group serves the entire state of Georgia and is centrally located in Macon with locations in Perry, Atlanta, and Statesboro. Piedmont Construction Group, Inc. provides personnel for immediate job site supervision, preconstruction support, project management, accounting, and risk management services. Established in Macon, Piedmont Construction Group’s first project was an exhibit arena at the Georgia National Fairgrounds for the Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission (GSFIC) in 1995. Celebrating 25 years in 2020, Piedmont has grown from our original office of only four individuals into a stable mid-sized company with four full-service offices strategically located throughout Georgia. Also in 2020, Piedmont Construction surpassed a milestone of having been responsible for over $1.2B in construction projects. With a strategy is based on utilizing a team approach in all construction methods for project delivery, Piedmont has maintained a reputation for emphasizing customer service and maximizing the client’s construction budget with exceptional safety and quality standards.
