What Is Phoenix Composite Solutions?

Phoenix Composite Solutions, LLC is an FAA certified aircraft repair and overhaul facility located on the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base In Oscoda, Michigan. We have an engineering driven staff experienced In advanced concepts of composite design, manufacture and repair. Phoenix Composite Solutions LLC FAA repair station provides airframe and engine composite & metal components, AOG Travel Team, ground test equipment design, build & repair, radome to tailcone repair. Design and test include NDT and radome transmission testing. FAR 145 repair station and is EASA and CAAV approved . We service all major aircraft on both composite and sheet-metal structures. Nacelles, Inlets, Thrust Reversers and Nozzles are also a major focus. We provide heavy engineering and DER support for any primary and secondary structure.We pride ourselves in rapid DER development for a quick turn-around-time. Our Original Equipment Manufacturing department utilizes the benefits of Lean Manufacturing, such as Work Cells, Quality Process Charts Program, “6 S”, and various other programs to create a smooth flow that shortens the lead time for delivery to customers. We are an ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2004 Rev. C certificate holder. We currently have several contracts that range from aircraft and engine manufacturers to military contracts. We perform build-to-print and design build programs for metal-to-metal bond and hybrid composite structures.
