What Is Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter High School?

Philadelphia Electrical & Technology is Charter High School established in 2002 with a mission to prepare students for employment in the 21st Century. For over the past decade, hundreds of students have benefited from workforce education and practical on-the-job training. In 2014, an iPad 1:1 program kicked off, enabling our students to experience hands-on technology in each of their classes. The establishment of a Technology Center with an expansive Broadcast Lab and Robotics Club have taken our STEM based program to the next level. Community Partnerships are essential to our success. Most recent partners include: WHYY, inc.; St. Mary's Interparochial School; UPS; IBEW Local Union 98; and other Philadelphia companies. The school serves 600 students and has hundreds of families on a waiting list. Check out our school web-site for more information www.petchs.org.
