People Powered is a global hub for participatory democracy. Our mission is to expand people’s power to make government decisions, by supporting organizations and governments that are building participatory democracy around the world. WHAT WE DO: 1. Share Resources We make practical participatory democracy resources more accessible to governments and organizations. We compile and develop tools, materials, and content that make it easier to implement participatory democracy programs. 2. Build Power We develop and support participatory democracy leaders. We provide international learning opportunities, training, coaching, fundraising support, and connections for participatory democracy organizations and advocates. 3. Change Policies We advocate for the shared goals of participatory democracy organizations. We build and strengthen coalitions, campaigns, and communication to change international policies and programs.
