What Is Peninsula Community Health Services (Washington)?

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, compassionate, quality health care services for our communities. Were a certified team of providers and specialists whose main goal is to provide you, the patient, the kind of comprehensive affordable health care that keeps you healthy. Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) was founded in 1987 as a community clinic in downtown Bremerton and became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 1993. PCHS health services include primary medical, dental, behavioral health counseling, pharmacy services, and health education and promotion activities for all stages of life. Services are provided to all patients regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. PCHS delivers a comprehensive and integrated approach to health care services and is an accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by AAAHC. The guiding principle of PCHS is to see and value every person who comes through our doors. Since December 9, 1987 when we opened our doors half-time with volunteer providers and a staff of seven, we have risen to meet the needs of our community. From such modest beginnings, PCHS now has five medical clinics and two dental clinics throughout Kitsap County. We are expanding to Belfair, WA in nearby Mason County in early 2017 with a clinic offering primary care medical, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy services. Our 30 medical providers, 10 dental providers and team of 200 provide accessible, affordable, compassionate, quality healthcare to 25,000 patients and counting.
