At Peachtree, we... INVITE people to follow Jesus Christ as they: CULTIVATE relationships with God and others through: Weekly Corporate Worship Participation in a Life Changing Group Personal Spiritual Disciplines GIVE generously of their resources. PARTICIPATE in making Atlanta a better city. We actively partner with the police and fire department, local government officials and schools as well as with other churches and community ministries to be a part of making Atlanta a better city. We believe that Jesus calls us to build houses and serve the homeless, to feed the hungry and look out for the helpless. From its inception, Peachtree has looked to make a difference in the community. It has vital partnerships with local community ministries, homeless shelters, area churches as well as with the Atlanta Police and Fire Departments, and with the mayorâ??s office and other local government entities. One of the newest initiatives launched out of these partnerships is an intentional effort to end human sex trafficking in Atlanta. PARTNER with the Church around the world. We also partner with Christians around the world to join Godâ??s work in the world. Our friendships with Christians around the world help us grow in our own commitment to Jesus. We have partnerships with Forman Christian College in Pakistan, World Vision in Malawi, and others in Kenya, Jamaica and Cuba. Peachtree is an intergenerational community of faith experiencing growth through its ministry to young families. Baptizing 160-180 babies a year, home to the Southâ??s largest preschool, and valuing children and student ministries, Peachtreeâ??s median age is 37. Eighty-two full-time staff make up the team which, alongside leaders in our congregation, guide Peachtreeâ??s ministry. Together, we live out that â??ministry flows out of fellowshipâ?? and value every member of our Peachtree team.
