The Company Paladin Freight Solutions is an entrepreneurial and ambitious company based in Memphis, Tennessee that provides transportation services throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are unique because we provide both innovative transportation solutions for shippers and consulting services for carriers under one umbrella. The founders have a passion for transportation and the role it plays in the global economy. The founders' experiences in transportation include: driving a big-rig, managing a shipping office, procuring supplies for the U.S. Navy, and providing financial services to small and mid-sized trucking companies. The founders have also worked in lumber mills, banks, coffee shops, sleep clinics, and investment firms. These experiences are less important to transportation but add to our innovative spirit. The Name Many have asked, "What does Paladin mean" Not only is the meaning of Paladin unclear but it is also hard to say over the phone. We find ourselves constantly repeating it and spelling it for our customers and other partners. Historically, Paladins were the foremost warriors of Charlemagne's court. This fact explains the sword in our logo. We also believe the concept of a warrior supports our Vision & Values. However, none of this explains why we would choose such an unwieldy name from a marketing stand point. The truth is our company name is a tribute to the Godfather of one of the founders. He passed on early in life. He had a company named Paladin Environmental LLC. Their custom construction was second to none just like our freight solutions and carrier services.
