What Is Pacific Energy Ltd?
Pacific Energy is a specialist developer, owner, and operator of traditional, renewable and hybrid power generation facilities. Our projects include off-grid islanded facilities for remote mining operations, microgrids for remote towns and communities, stand-alone-power systems for regions and fringe of grid consumers and 'grid-connected' hydro and gas power. Over three decades we have built over 60 power stations and become an industry leader with experience and expertise in multiple technologies. Pacific Energy currently own and operate approximately 40 power station facilities with a total power generation capacity of around 500MW. Our services are delivered through five operating subsidiaries: KPS - Established in 1981, KPS designs, builds, owns and operates bespoke off-grid power stations for mining operations Contract Power - Established in 1991, Contract Power operates in the remote Build, Own, Operate power market for mines and townships, as well as constructing power stations under EPC contracts. Hybrid Systems Australia - HSA offers a number of different project services including the design, construction and installation of integrated hybrid systems, which incorporate the use of Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Backup Reciprocating Gas and Diesel Generation. In the form of micro-grids or stand-alone-power systems, these leading-edge off-grid applications service regional towns, homes, workshops, offices, government facilities, and mine sites. HSA offers a range of flexible project options including rental and complete turnkey packages. Pacific Energy Hydro - Established in 1993, Pacific Energy Hydro owns and operates 2 hydropower stations in South East Victoria, Australia. NovaPower - Established in 2014, NovaPower owns and operates a 10MW gas-fired peaking power generation plant in Traralgon, Victoria. NovaPower is a high-efficiency/low emissions gas-fired power station which generates in quick response to electricity
