PARC Retirement Living is a privately owned company, specializing in building and managing seniors lifestyle residences in Vancouver's Lower Mainland. Owner, Rainer Muller, incorporated the company in 2004. As a trained architect in Europe, the course of his career was changed when his own mother moved into a retirement living community in Switzerland. Rainer was inspired by how enriched her life became, and this fueled his passion and vision for retirement residences featuring high-quality construction, fresh food, active living programs and services. PARC Retirement Living now employs over 220 staff and operates four, unique, award-winning residences. Our employees refer to us as a dynamic workplace, where they inspire one another through optimism and compassion. PARC Retirement Living contributes over $400,000 annually to neighbourhood organizations that benefit the lives of seniors. Our mission is to ensure residents thrive through an active, enriched lifestyle in our Independent Living+ communities. PARC Retirement Living residences offer services such as onsite Wellness Nurses, driver service, our unique LivingBalance program, focusing on nutrition, physical and brain fitness, and activities including gardening, computer classes and Nordic pole walking. All delivered by employees committed to enriching the lives of seniors.
