What Is Opportunity Living?

Opportunity Living is a licensed Intermediate Care Facility based in Lake City, Iowa (USA) with homes in both Lake City and Rockwell City. Opportunity Living is currently home to 68 clients with varying degrees of levels of care. Our clients live in community based group homes and we provide work and activity services at our Activity Center in Lake City. In late Spring of 2018, Opportunity Living expanded services and opened our first Home Community Based Service (HCBS) home in Carroll, Iowa. Shortly after, we added three additional homes also in Carroll. We now serve 13 HCBS clients that we help integrate into the community through various activities. Opportunity Living is also certified to provide Home and Community Based Waiver Services (HCBS). We are able to serve individuals under the Intellectual Disability (ID) waiver as well as the Brain Injury (BI) waiver.
