Oil States International, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is a provider of specialty products and services to oil and gas drilling and production companies throughout the world. It operates in a substantial number of the world’s active oil and gas producing regions, including the Gulf of Mexico, United States onshore, West Africa, the North Sea, Canada, South America and Southeast and Central Asia. The Company’s customers include national oil companies, independent oil and gas companies and other oilfield service companies. The Company operates in three principal business segments: offshore products, tubular services and well site services. During the year ended December 31, 2007, it acquired two rental tool businesses. In July 2007, it acquired the business of Wire Line Service, Ltd. In August 2007, it acquired the business of Schooner Petroleum Services, Inc.
