Nyamba Buru Yawuru (NBY) means This is the place of Yawuru. NBY is the operational company of the Yawuru Native Title Holders Aboriginal Corporation, based in Broome. NBY is a dynamic corporate entity that manages the day to day business of the Yawuru Corporate Group. It is engaged in diverse activities ranging from enterprise development, land management, community development, language maintenance and cultural revival. The Yawuru Corporate Group has commercial interests in Roebuck Plains pastoral station, commercial property, residential property development and other enterprises that are key to the economic development of the Broome region.
