Company History: Throughout the 1970s and 80s, Novo Arts procured fine art for clients building collections of established and emerging artists from traditional art market sources, such as galleries and auction houses. By the late 1980s, Novo Arts recognized a growing need for art in corporate spaces, where budget constraints denied clients the possibility of accumulating art collections. In response, Novo Arts introduced the Studio Art Program - a group of artists collaboratively working under art direction to create artworks. The corporate community embraced the progressive model as it made customized, original art obtainable for a fraction of its comparative market value.
