What Is NorthStar Technology Group?
NorthStar Technology Group helps healthcare facilities, law firms and accounting practices make more money through better use of technology. We also help protect businesses and reputations from hackers and security breaches. What makes us different? Our differentiation is the time and money investment we put into our process that delivers the best business results for … companies that put high value in technology’s role in their business success. In other words, we are maybe not the best fit for organizations that don’t highly value technology’s role in their success… Most MSP’s don’t invest enough time or money in their process and people to effectively produce good business results. We used to be this way. We did MSP101 things… monitoring, support when things broke and projects when customers asked. What we found is that it didn’t result in better business results for our customer. It didn’t reduce support noise. It didn’t make employees more productive. It didn’t help companies be more profitable or create competitive advantages… And… honestly, it ended up being much more costly for our customers long term. We knew we had to change. We had to figure out what specific technology, security and process produced the best results. That’s when we developed our “Way†(chocolate cake). When I was younger, there was a local bakery that made the BEST chocolate cake. People would pay more for it because it was just that good. Why? Isn’t it just eggs, flower, sugar, cocoa, etc? You can buy those things individually at the grocery store for not a lot of money right? It was the process that the baker took to put all the ingredients together to make a cake worth paying more for. This is what we do with technology and business results.
