Noront is a Canadian mining company leading development in the emerging multi-metals Ring of Fire region, which is located 500 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay. We are doing this in true partnership with First Nations, contractors, suppliers and local communities in Northern Ontario. Our acquisitions of Cliffs Natural Resourcesￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ world-class chromite properties and MacDonald Mines gave us ownership or controlling interest in all the major discoveries in the region. Our first project is Eagleￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢs Nest, a 100%-owned, nickel, copper and platinum group element (PGE) deposit. It is the largest high-grade nickel discovery in Canada since Voiseyￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢs Bay and the most advanced project in the Ring of Fire. The Blackbird and Black Thor chromite deposits are the next projects in our pipeline.
