Nicolet proudly serves the Northwoods community from its Rhinelander campus situated on the shores of Lake Julia, and from outreach centers located within the Nicolet District. It is one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System. Nicolet is the center of higher education in the Northwoods, offering more than 70 associate degrees, diplomas, certificates, and apprenticeship programs as well as a University Transfer and Liberal Arts program. It is also one of only three state technical colleges offering both occupational training and university-level liberal arts education. Faculty and staff at Nicolet are experts in their field and are passionate about success. In addition to academic programs, Nicolet offers Continuing Education courses, the Outdoor Adventure Series, and Learning in Retirement.
