We're creating a more innovative state for the people of New Jersey. The Office of Innovation works collaboratively with government, academic, non-profit, and private sector institutions to drive innovation in the Garden State's economy and improve the design and delivery of policies and services to the state's residents, businesses, and institutions.\n\nWe deploy cross-functional teams with data, design, engineering, policy, product, and strategy expertise to solve pressing public interest challenges. By leveraging human-centered design, agile methodologies, iterative policymaking, and data-driven practices, we place the user at the center of our work and rapidly create solutions that we can test and iterate upon.\n\nSince our creation, we have engaged in a variety of projects, including:\n\nResponding to emerging and urgent needs, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, by deploying modern digital services and expanding the use and availability of data\n\nImproving the delivery of benefits and services, including Unemployment Insurance and SNAP\n\nCreating tools to enable the public to participate in open policy making\n\nMaking modern career services and digital tools available to support job seekers in identifying, preparing for, and obtaining family-sustaining jobs\n\nImproving the way entrepreneurs and business owners start, operate, and grow their businesses in the state\n\nExploring policy innovations on issue areas such as economic development, technology governance, open data, open governance, autonomous vehicles, broadband, workforce development and more\n\nInterested in improving the lives of New Jerseyans by designing and delivering modern policies and services?
