Research for a Cure Since 1973, the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) has funded scientific discoveries, medical advancements and changes in technology that have revolutionized the way doctors treat all types of cancer. NFCR has long been a catalyst for the invention of the kinds of "disruptive innovations" that are bringing hope and promise to patients suffering with cancer. Our focus has always been to provide scientists with the adventure funding to research, discover and then incubate their novel ideas, programs and products.
