What Is NJOHSP?

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) leads and coordinates New Jersey’s counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and emergency preparedness efforts while building resiliency throughout the State. The office is led by Director Jared Maples and comprised of four Divisions: Division of Intelligence, Division of Policy and Planning, Division of Cybersecurity and Division of Administration. The Office is primarily housed in Hamilton with a satellite office in Newark. The Office is designated as the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for all federal homeland security and preparedness funding.
