Mr. Flynn, 47, of Delran, N.J., first joined NJM as a staff attorney in 1993. He later served in various capacities before being elected Vice President and General Counsel in 2001, and then Executive Vice President and General Counsel in January 2008. Mr. Flynn is a 1982 graduate of Fordham University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, in 1986. He also earned the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 2001. Before starting his NJM career, Mr. Flynn was a Deputy Attorney General in the Division of Law, Department of Law and Public Safety, for five years, representing the Department of Insurance and the Department of Transportation.
