What Is NHH - Norwegian School of Economics?

NHH (Norwegian School of Economics) is Norway's oldest and leading business school. Since its foundation in 1936 it has been a bastion of higher education in economics and business administration in Norway. NHH offers a three-year Bachelor of Science degree, a two-year Master of Science degree, and a three year Doctor of Philosophy degree. The latter two are offered to international students. Within the MSc programme international students can attend NHH through both CEMS partnership and several double degree programmes. For more than 75 years, NHH has focused on quality in research and education. As a result of this, NHH has an internationally recognised faculty and a highly motivated student body. The offer of a top education, with no tuition fees, makes the competition for admission to NHH rigorous. This ensures that only candidates with excellent academic qualifications and high potential are selected for admission The faculty members at NHH have made significant contributions, especially in the fields of finance and economics. They publish extensively in aknowledged journals and take influental positions as advisers and board members in both private and public sectors. NHH is the Norwegian member of CEMS - The Global Alliance In Management Education, and a member of the Partnership in International Management (PIM) network. NHH is accredited by EQUIS (European Quality Improvement system).
