Founded in 1975, Mustang Dynamometer is the largest company in the industry and the only true manufacturer of Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) equipment. At our corporate headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio, we have over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space. We incorporate complete engineering, balancing, metal fabricating, machining, painting, assembly and testing operations. Research and development are also a critical part of our operation. These operations are designed to assure the delivery of high-quality products while achieving significant production rates, more than 150 dynamometer systems per week. Rates can easily be accelerated if the markets demand. During peak production periods, Mustang has employed more than 350 employees, including over 40 engineers. Mustang's engineering staff, the largest of any company in the industry, includes mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, quality and integration engineers. By designing and manufacturing its entire product line, Mustang can alter any component to tailor a product to the customer's specific needs. Other suppliers provide software integration of parts manufactured by multiple vendors, but Mustang controls production every step of the way.
