Today, Minigrip® is the only manufacturer of integral zipper bags for the industrial market in the United States. Unlike a zipper that is applied after the bag is made, our bags are made like the branded consumer products with the zipper included to give a better appearance for display. Minigrip's bag-making operation is located in Seguin, Texas, northeast of San Antonio, and is comprised of two separate businesses: Industrial Packaging and Consumer Products. Industrial Packaging manufactures a wide variety of sizes and types of bags for unlimited uses. Formerly sold only through distributors, we are now proud to offer our products directly to end-users also. Consumer Products sells private label food service bags and specialty retail items. New West Products, manufacturer and retailer of the famous Space Bag® was acquired by ITW in 2002 and is part of the Minigrip family. Zip-Pak produces hundreds of different styles zipper closures, and is constantly creating new variations for specific applications. In addition, Zip-Pak's AMI Equipment Division (based in Duluth, GA), develops machinery attachments to apply zipper in-line on Form/Fill/Seal equipment and Pre-made Pouch machines.
