What Is Minds Matter NYC?

Minds Matter transforms the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success. As the educational achievement gap persists, Minds Matter is making college access a reality for its students through dynamic programs provided almost entirely by volunteers. Minds Matter provides critical resources including mentoring, SAT test preparation, writing instruction, and access to summer programs to students. We are proud to say that 100% of Minds Matter students have been accepted into four-year universities. Minds Matter NYC is currently leveraging the power of over 600 passionate volunteers to work with 250+ students.
