What Is Metropolitan Sewer District?

Established as the Metropolitan Sewer Subdistrict in 1969, MetroConnects is a special purpose district created by the State Legislature to operate and maintain sanitary sewer collection facilities. Today, MetroConnects operates and maintains approximately 650 miles of sanitary sewer collection lines. MetroConnects’ service area stretches from northern Greenville County to the southern portions of the county and southwest to Piedmont in both Greenville and Anderson counties. \n\nOur office is located within the South Carolina Technical Aviation Center (SCTAC) at 120 Augusta Arbor Way, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.\n\nMetro provides services for our customers 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
