Since 1858, Melbourne Grammar School has been providing an outstanding education in the heart of Melbourne. From the moment students step on campus at Melbourne Grammar School, they join a learning community, where our staff, students and their families work together to learn and grow. Our focus on academic achievement is reflected in our students’ outstanding results, while our commitment to developing the ’whole person’ is reflected in our strong pastoral care and co-curricular activities. Melbourne Grammar School comprises three campuses. Grimwade House is our coeducational junior school in Caulfield, catering to boys and girls from Prep to Year 6. Wadhurst, our dedicated middle school for boys in Years 7 and 8, and Senior School, for boys from Years 9 to 12, are both located in South Yarra, close to the CBD and overlooking Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Our school has a proud tradition of academic excellence, and our students are supported and encouraged to work hard and achieve their potential. Our teachers are experienced and dedicated, working closely with students to provide a supportive and well-resourced learning environment. Our aim is to provide a well-rounded education that develops student’s physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual growth. Across the school, the educational experience guides students to become productive, responsible and caring citizens of the future. At each campus, students are encouraged to build their leadership skills through engaging personal development activities. Students take part in a diverse range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities that engage their passions and allow them to develop strong relationships with their peers, coaches and staff. Boarding is available for boys from Years 7 to 12. Our boarders enter a caring, supportive environment where dedicated staff, a structured schedule and purpose-built accommodation create a welcoming home away from home.
