MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is a 192 bed full-service acute care facility with approximately 65,000 emergency room visits and approximately 19,000 admissions each year.\r\n\r\nAmong our other specialty services and facilities are a 24-hour emergency department and critical care unit, outpatient radiology, a surgical center, a sleep disorders lab, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs, an asthma and allergy center, rehabilitative medicine, and cancer treatment services.\r\n\r\nMedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is a medical center that not only treats illnesses and injuries, but also promotes wellness and community health as well.
