Our mission is to connect Marylanders facing financial hardships with volunteer lawyers, tax professionals, and community partners to deliver free civil legal assistance because there should be justice for all, not just for those who can afford it. Each eligible individual client is matched with a volunteer lawyer who has the appropriate skills and expertise to provide quality representation. With a volunteer pool of over 1,000 lawyers, MVLS provides services in every jurisdiction in the state.
