Manorama Group has humble beginning since 1970. In early 1970s, Manorama Group had made its mark on Global Oils and Fats Industry with Netherlands Government publishing special features on the Indian Entrepreneur in leading Dutch Newspapers publicizing the vast potential of Indian Exotic Fats. The Company is pioneer in Mango butter, Sal butter, Kokum butter and Mowrah butter and has been awarded by the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Since last consecutive 15 years Manorama Industries Ltd is receiving awards for Highest Processing of Sal seed and Mango kernel and Highest Exporter of Sal Butter and Mango kernel Butter from many organizations like Solvent Extractors Association of India (SEA), Indian Oilseed and Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEPC), Globoil and Shellac and Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SHEFEXIL). Manorama Industries Ltd has wide and diverse product basket including CBE(Cocoa Butter Equivalent). Addition of 5% CBE in Chocolate making from January 1st, 2018 has been permitted by FSSAI. The Company is engaged in manufacturing, processing and exporting of exotic and specialty butters / fats like Sal butter, Sal fat, Sal oil, Sal stearine, CBE(Cocoa Butter Equivalent), Mango butter, Mango fat, Mango oil, Mango stearine, Kokum butter, Kokum oil, Mowrah fat, Cocoa Butter Substitute(CBS), Cocoa Butter Replacer(CBR) and several value-added tailor made products. The oils are extracted from Tree Borne Oilseeds (TBOs) found in the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal (to some extent), Bihar, Goa, Maharashtra, etc. Our products are used as main Ingredients for usage in Chocolate, Confectionaries and Cosmetics industries as Specialty fats. In above states there are 7.8 millions of tribal who are collecting Tree Borne Oilseeds(TBOs). The company purchases and directly makes payment as per MSP (Minimum Support Price). Across central India, around 30 million forest dwellers, mostly tribal people depend on the seeds, leaves and resins from sal trees and other wild seeds for their livelihood. Sal seeds, Mango kernel, Kokum seed and other wild seeds are crucial because people collect them in May and June when other sources of incomes are limited. The Company is directly procuring and sourcing from more than 18,000 villages. The Company manufacturers exclusive niche chocolate butters, confectionery butters, cosmetic butter and specialty butters for niche industries. The Company has dominance and supremacy in the field starting from collection of Tree Borne Oilseeds (TBOs) with the help of tribal people, processing, manufacturing of exotic and specialty butters and exporting all over the world to the manufacturers of Confectionery, Chocolate and Cosmetic industries. The Company is also giving valuable contribution in the part of Indian Government's welfare function. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility Manorama has collaborated with many women self-help group and NGO in order to source raw material such as Mango Kernel, Sal seed, Morwah Seeds, Kokum Seeds, Dhupa Seeds, by purchasing from them is increasing the status of livelihood of their family. The Company works for Community Development with the tribal people with Fair Trade.
