What Is Managecast Technologies?

Veeam Innovation Award Winner 2020! Founded in 2000, Managecast Technologies, Inc. is focused on cloud backup, disaster recovery (DR), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and Business Continuity (BC). Managecast offers disaster recovery and business continuity planning services, including risk assessments and business impact assessments (BIA). Managecast primarily leverages Asigra, Veeam, and Zerto to power our cloud backup and recovery services. We also utilize multiple SSAE16, HIPAA, SOX, and PCI certified data centers that are geographically separated so we can replicate backup data for the ultimate in data protection. One of Managecast's key differentiators is that we offer much more than a utility-type service. We take time to understand the data to be protected and offer expertise in how to best protect customer data. We monitor the backups and proactively notify customers when we detect an issue. Managecast assists with managing the backups and takes on the role of the backup administrator so the customer can focus on their core business. The reason Managecast got into the data protection business is because the owner, Nathan Golden, recognized that many organizations did not take data protection as seriously as they should and often did not take their data offsite regularly, or monitor the backups regularly. Nathan set out to resolve this issue by offering world-class backup services that was cost effective.
