MSU Undergraduate Women in Business Revenue and Competitors

The MSU Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) is an organization at Mississippi State University for female students that plan on entering business-related careers after completing college. We strive to equip and empower women to be successful in their careers and in the college experience. We also want to give women a place to meet their peers and build a support system of long-lasting friendships and connections. Some examples of the type of events we put on: • Resume and interview workshops • Guest speakers with successful female CEO's, business-owners, or other leaders • Networking events • Career fairs • Q&A panels featuring current students who have had successful internships • Q&A panels featuring employers or company recruiters • LinkedIn Workshops The UWiB aims to recruit a diverse group of women from all over campus that excels in academics, leadership, and service. It is a prestigious organization that was originally founded and modeled after the chapter of UWIB at Harvard University. Currently, we have about 100 members, but we are constantly recruiting throughout the school year. Lastly, a large focus of UWiB is to prepare and take a group of our members to the annual Intercollegiate Business Convention at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. We fundraise for scholarships throughout the year so that women who excel in the organization are able to receive travel money to attend. It is an incredible opportunity for women to represent MSU at an international conference with over 70 universities from all over the world. It is also a great opportunity for MSU students to network with incredible guest speakers and attendees who are extremely successful, such as CEO's or other executives of Fortune 500 companies. The UWiB is a fantastic way to get plugged in at Mississippi State, as well as to take your academics and career prep to the next level.
