The Company also provides service related to absorption or diffusion of various compounds, harsh environment applications, shelf-life concerns, flavor or odor detection and other special permeation applications. In January 2004, the Company acquired its primary distributor of products in Europe, Paul Lippke Handels-GmbH Prozess-und Laborsysteme, which provides the Company with a direct presence in Europe. The market for the consulting and analytical services consists of manufacturers of foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, plastics, chemicals and personal care products.
