MBO College Airport Hoofddorp Revenue and Competitors

MBO College Airport has been the vocational education & training centre for courses aimed at Airport Services, Aviation Technology and Logistic Services at every Dutch intermediary vocational level for 25 years. The Intermediate Vocational College (in Dutch ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜMBOￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ) is situated in Hoofddorp only five minutes from Schiphol. The main building at the Opaallaan has besides the lecture rooms a number of practical instruction facilities. The trainee stewardesses have their own double cabin and one special Business Class cabin, a check-in with two counters and a boarding gate that makes ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜreal timeￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ practising possible. An enormous hangar is situated behind the main building. It is Europeￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢs largest instruction classroom. The future aircraft maintenance personnel can train their practical skills in this hangar on ten different planes and helicopters. Pride of place takes a real Boeing 737. These students may also opt for the specialist Drone module. Airport security courses are offered as well and MBO College Airport is an official Exam centre for airport security staff. Travel & Hospitality students practise their skills in a dedicated classroom or in the ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜin houseￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ travel agency: ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜTravel ROCksￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ. All educations in Logistic Services, including Airport Logistics, are situated at the Diamantlaan, just 500 m. away. These courses have their own warehouse and other practice facilities. This second location within walking distance of the main building, shows that MBO College Airport has the ambition to become the leading logistics educational centre in the Schiphol and Amsterdam area, with lifelong learning at its core.
