What Is Lycée français d'Oslo / Den franske skolen?

PRESENTATION OF THE FRENCH SCHOOL IN OSLO The French School in Oslo is an international school open to all. We welcome children between the ages of 3 and 18 whether they speak French or not. The education provided by the French School in Oslo follows the French curriculum. However, the school has adapted to life in Norway by promoting multilingualism and by focusing on various artistic, cultural and scientific projects. Through working individually and in groups, all students discover their talents and start to build their futures. A French education in Norway Ideally situated in central Oslo, the French School brings together over 600 children from about 50 different countries. This provides a unique and multicultural environment in which students learn to communicate and appreciate diversity as they develop. A centre of excellence with a focus on well-being Our students achieve outstanding results both nationally and internationally. These results are mainly due to the quality of the school’s teaching methods, highly qualified teachers, and the small class sizes. This academic success is reinforced by promoting well-being for all. A unique school in an international network Created in 1961, the school is accredited by both the French and Norwegian governments. It is also part of a network of 492 schools in 137 countries called the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). An education at the French School in Oslo enables students to continue their studies in France, Norway or anywhere else in the world.
