The mission of the LHSAA is to direct and regulate the interscholastic athletics of our member schools while promoting fair and equitable competition that is in the best interest of the student-athlete. The LHSAA services 400 member schools, 12,000 coaches and 93,000 plus student-athletes. The LHSAA is also responsible for hosting all sanctioned Louisiana high school state championships.
