What Is Lizard Skins?

Since 1993 Lizard Skins has created products to meet the needs and wants of cyclists around the world. Specializing in grip, glove and protective accessories, Lizard Skins has become a global brand in the cycling industry. Sponsoring teams and riders in cycling's top competitions including the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia is no longer foreign territory for a company that started as a small manufacturing business on a single work table. Lizard Skins now enjoys customers through its distribution channels in 84 countries. In 2012, Lizard Skins began writing a new chapter launching into the baseball industry with a new and innovative bat grip. The company's expertise with the hand-to-grip interface from cycling gave developers the edge to effectively respond to the needs of players in team sports. Shortly after its baseball debut, the product made its way into the hands of many of MLB's top players. To-date, over 200 MLB players actively use the product as the company expands its endorsement line-up to more than a dozen of MLB's top names. 2016 culminated in a licensing agreement with MLB making Lizard Skins the Official Bat Grip Supplier of Major League Baseball and one of only 12 Authentic Collection brands. 2016 also marked the year in which the company relocated to a new facility that more than doubled the companies operating and warehouse space. In 2018, Lizard Skins commemorated it's 25th Year Anniversary as a company and signed it's first professional athletes in the NHL while also entering into a new licensing agreement with the MLL. With ever-maturing product lines, sports and athletes, Lizard Skins continues to solidify its position as an industry leader in accessories that revolve around the hand-to-grip interface.
