What Is LensCrafters?
In 1983 an optical revolution began. Although it seems commonplace today, in 1983 there was no “one-stop shopping” for vision care and eyewear—until LensCrafters came on the scene. LensCrafters was the first company of its kind to offer the convenience of getting an eye exam and choosing stylish frames fitted with the latest high tech lenses in one location. What’s more, LensCrafters was able to make most glasses at their on-site lab in only about an hour.
