Legacy Venture invests in a select group of top venture capital funds that in turn invest in promising companies that have included Facebook, Lending Club, LinkedIn, Netflix, PayPal, Twitter, Vipshop, Workday, YouTube, Yammer, Zillow, zulily, 58.com and many others.* These top venture funds are highly sought after and in most cases are not accessible to anyone outside of a very small circle of investors. Legacy has gained access to these venture funds by virtue of its philanthropic mission and its well-connected management team and investors. In exchange for investment access to these top venture funds, our investors intend to donate all principal and profits to the philanthropic causes they individually choose. Legacy also offers opportunities for investors to interact with each other and with philanthropic leaders, allowing them to further leverage the impact of their gifts.
