What Is Lado International College?

For 40 years, LADO International Institute has specialized in providing quality, comprehensive English language instruction at reasonable prices. Over 3,000 students attend our nationally accredited school each year and experience first-hand the LADO difference:\r\n \r\nLADO's proven methodology is based on the work of renowned applied linguist, Dr. Robert Lado. Our methodology integrates every aspect of language learning: reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and pronunciation. In the Intensive Program, students can expect to reach college-level proficiency in about one year.\r\n\r\nIn 1960, Dr. Robert Lado founded the Georgetown University School of Languages and Linguistics, where he served as Dean until 1973. In 1977, Dr. Lado retired from Georgetown University to open his own language school, LADO International College, which has grown to four centers in the United States.
