At our modern manufacturing plant in Barry, South Wales, using our unique process (patent-pending), we manufacture beautiful and high-performance wood for cladding, decking, flooring and a large range of joinery projects. It's also the proven real wood alternative to Burmese teak for use in yacht decking in the marine sector. Award-winning LIGNIA® takes softwood grown sustainably in temperate plantations and turns it into wood with ultimate durability, matching or exceeding the performance of hardwoods, thus helping to reduce deforestation in some of the world's tropical rainforests. This modified timber is 'wood made for life' with all the robust advantages of wood as a construction material, and none of the age-old drawbacks such as perceptibility to decay and rotting. Our product range is tested and approved by the world's leading scientific and regulatory bodies who work with our own leading timber scientists and technicians based in our R&D laboratory in the Barry site.
