L.U. Simon Builders as a construction company was established in 1955 and subsequently has been in the business of building over 60 years. Over those years, we have established a broad base of experience in all sectors of the industry and have successfully completed over 890 individual projects. In the late 1990s, medium and high rise residences become more prolific. L.U. Simon Builders has built over 1,000 apartments per annum over the past 15 years in Victoria alone. Over the life of the Company, we have built a large team of loyal key personnel and subsequently, all the skills acquired over many years in the building industry remain at our disposal and to the benefit of our Clients. L.U. Simon Builders employs over 190 direct employees and have so for many years. The majority of our staff including senior site personnel are long-term employees. This is a unique achievement in the building industry. The combined technical skills and team effort provided by these staff over the years is largely responsible for the reputation and standing enjoyed by the company today. Our complement of senior staff includes a number of highly skilled technical personnel, most holding formal tertiary qualifications in building, quantity surveying and engineering. The technical team is complemented by an on-site labour force who have been hand-picked and trained over time to form a unique, specialist team. A substantial administrative team of accounting, computer and general office staff support operations. Our Directors are all hands on and are available for contact at any time. The nominated Director for the Ramsay Residence Project would attend the site daily, apart from the regular meetings required for Design and P.C.Gs. L.U. Simon Builders has achieved many awards for excellence and achievement in the building industry and is the 2014 MBAV Builder of the Year for our Eden Project in Abbotsford.
