Kopernik is 100% employee-owned. The firm was founded in July 2013 by Dave Iben, the Managing Member, Founder and Chief Investment Officer. Kopernik was built on the same investment philosophy and time-tested investment process that Dave Iben has been successfully developing over his 37-year career. As of December 31, 2019, Kopernik has 37 employees and manages approximately $4.1 billion (managed and advisory-only) across global and international equity strategies.
