What Is Kernow Environmental Health and Immunisation?

Kernow Environmental Health & Immunisation has been providing a wide range of Environmental Health, Public Health and Immunisation services to Local Government and Private Enterprise across Australia since 1995. Kernow works with a number of Councils ranging from large metropolitan municipalities to smaller, remote rural locations. Through our signficant amount of experience we understand the issues and complexities for Councils of every size and have the skills, knowledge and expertise to effectively provide the right solution at the right cost. RIAMS - Kernow and RIAMS are driving consistency in all areas of Regulatory Services across Australia. Go to www.riamsau.org or check out the RIAMS Australia Linked In page to understand how Kernow is providing standardised policies and procedures to Council's Regulatory Services units (Environmental Health & Local Laws). Avonsya Regulatory Training - Avonsya is the Cornish word for progressive and it underpins our approach to training. As one of the largest employers of Environmental Health staff in Australia, it is important that we keep the skills of our staff up-to-date with relevant, accessible and practical training programs. We needed training that was targeted, explored a topic in depth and provided insights from a practical perspective. It was also important that there was an opportunity to demonstrate learnings and skills at the end. We identified a significant need for quality training but struggled to find any. So we created Avonsya Regulatory Training. With over 35 EHOs and more than 20 years experience in the industry, we believe we have both the knowledge and experience to create meaningful training for the industry.
