Justice.\n\nOur mission is to fulfill the constitutional promise of a zealous defense by providing our clients with team-based advocacy that champions their human dignity and achieves just outcomes on their behalf.\n\nTo fulfill this mission, we provide trial-level institutional Public Defense services in 11 offices throughout Kansas, trial-level and appellate capital defense, an appellate division which accepts criminal appeals across Kansas and capital post-conviction services. SBIDS also provides administrative services for appointed counsel, investigators and experts. \n\nSBIDS is always seeking passionate, dedicated attorneys and staff to work directly with us or as private attorneys accepting appointments in every Kansas County.
