We see a perfect storm forming in the networking industry. There's no existing solution or vendor addressing the fundamental data center networking challenges that lie ahead. You want to virtualize network functions to achieve flexibility and cost efficiency. Thus far, these benefits have come at the cost of performance as you move from proprietary hardware to open hardware and software-based functions. Data centers are the most critical element in delivering the services and applications that we all use every day. Kaloom was formed specifically to address these challenges.
